Pune, 3rd September 2024: The entire nation is all set for the Ganeshotsav in just four days. Just like every year, this year too, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has planned extra buses for the passengers going to Konkan to celebrate the festival.

Around 5,000 buses from the state and 325 from Pune have been planned. It is reported that the MSRTC has planned to release more buses in case of crowding at the stations. It is seen that passengers have already started their booking for the journey online as well as at the depot.

Buses will be ready to depart to Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, and other cities from Wednesday (4 September) from Pune. It is assumed that on Thursday (5 September) most buses will depart to Konkan and hence as many as 200 buses will run from Swargate station on Thursday.

It is informed that 75 buses will depart from Vallabhnagar Station while 250 buses will depart from Swargate Station. Buses on less responsive routes will be sent to Konkan.
