MSRTC Extends E-Bus Connectivity between Pune And Kolhapur, To Run 8 Shivai Buses On Route
Pune 25th August 2023: The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has extended the connectivity of electric buses ‘Shivai’ from Pune as the E-buses have not started plying between Pune and Kolhapur. The officials have said that four buses from Pune division and four buses of Kolhapur division have started plying on this route from today. The E-bus will leave from Swargate Bus Stand and commuters can book their tickets from there, said officials.
This will further improve the travel experience of MSRTC passengers between the two cities as the air conditioned electric buses provide various facilities to the commuters which are otherwise not provided in the old MSRTC buses. Besides, the buses provide travel experience without noise as these buses run on electricity and further filfil the MSRTC’s vision to run majority of buses on green fuel.
It may be noted that the MSRTC has earlier announced ‘Shivai’ buses between Pune to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Pune to Nashik.
