MSRTC cancels several ST buses due to Maharashtra Bandh

Pune – During every protest, Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRCTC) buses become the soft target. Therefore, on Tuesday MSRTC cancelled several buses during the Maharashtra bandh.

The struggle for the Maratha Reservation in Maharashtra has now grown furious. In the last four days, 63 buses of ST have been targeted in this movement. Due to the continuous agitation and the announcement of the Maharashtra bandh, buses and passengers have to cancel ST buses in many places in the state.

The highest intensity of Maratha agitation is seen in Marathwada region of Maharashtra. Here, ST buses have become the biggest target.

On this backdrop, the MSRTC has canceled its buses in many places. Neither the Maratha Kranti Morcha has appealed to the people not to target their vehicles and ST buses, for the return of the Warkaris and pilgrims who visited Pandharpur for Ashadhi Ekadashi.
