More than 1.5 lakh patients cured of COVID19 in the country so far

New Delhi, June 13, 2020: The country has witnessed a rapid recovery in Coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. According to the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there have been 11,458 reported cases of COVID in the last 24 hours in the country. 386 people have died during this period. While the cases of Coronavirus are seen increasing rapidly in the country, patients are recovering fast in the country. The recovery rate of people in the country has increased to 49.47 percent.

The number of infected people in the country has crossed 3 lakh. The figure of infected persons stand at 3,08,993 and so far 8,884 people have lost their lives. 1,54,330 people have been fully recovered and active cases remain at 1,45,779.

While the cases of infection from Corona are increasing, the country been successful to a great extent in stopping its pace. The doubling time of infected cases is improving. According to the Union Ministry of Health, cases are now doubling in 17.4 days, which was doubling in 15.4 days a few weeks back.
