Missing girl killed by her boyfriend; Pimpri police solve mysterious case after 10 years

Pimpri, March 22, 2021: A 22-year-old girl had gone missing in 2011. The girl’s mother had lodged a complaint at the Pimpri police station in 2013 that she was missing, however, she was never found. Now, ten years later, her mother again lodged a com[laint and the police have finally succeeded in cracking the case.

Ten years ago, a 22-year-old Chandni Landage went missing. Pimpri police have solved the mystery of the case. Police officials re-investigated the case and arrested her boyfriend on suspicion. Upon further interrogation, he confessed to the crime. Her boyfriend had killed her and dumped her body in a secluded place.

The victim’s mother Savita Landage had lodged another FIR at the Pimpri police station. Police arrested the accused Kishor Ghare on suspicion.

According to the FIR, the deceased girl and Ghare had an affair. Both were working together in a company in Hinjawadi. Ghare had promised to marry Chandni, but after some time, he started avoiding her. The two used to argue over this. On September 11, 2011, Ghare went to Chandni’s house. He expressed his desire to marry her and both went on a bike but Chandni never came back home.

Chandni’s mother tried to contact her but was unable to get connected as her phone was switched off. Then, she had called Ghare who said that she had rejected getting married to him and left him. The victim’s mother was waited for her daughter to come home but when she felt that Chandni would not return, she lodged a complaint with the police two years later.

When Chandni left home in 2011, she had 5-gram earrings in her ears and silver toerings on her feet. These details were mentioned in the complaint. Her mother repeatedly tried to contact Ghare but did not respond. Two months ago, the mother saw the accused selling vegetables in the Manjari area. When she tried to ask him about her daughter, he refused to talk. Eventually, she rushed to the police. Police officials arrested Ghare on suspicion. After a thorough interrogation, he confessed to the crime. He told the police that he killed Chandni in 2011. Police have registered a case of murder against him and further investigation is currently underway.
