Missing 10-Year-Old Pune Girl Found Safe In Thane

Pune, 22nd November 2023: In a heartening turn of events, a 10-year-old girl, reported missing since Wednesday evening, has been located in Thane, according to officials.

The young girl, a student at Sardar Dastur Girls High School, went missing after school hours, prompting her family to file a missing report with the Bund Garden Police station later in the evening.

Girish Oswal, the father of the missing girl, confirmed her discovery, expressing relief. He stated that after the necessary police procedures are completed, his daughter will be reunited with the family.

The Maharashtra Missing Group, led by Shivaji Pasalkar, played a crucial role in locating the girl. Pasalkar initiated a search operation, disseminating information about the missing girl across various social media groups.  

A senior police officer said, “We are probing the case. The kidnapping angle has been ruled out.”
