MHADA Lottery To Be Announced On January 22; Registrations Open Till January 11

Pune, January 8, 2021: The Pune division of Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has so far registered 53,472 citizens for 5,647 flats in Pune, Solapur, Sangli, and Kolhapur districts. MHADA will make arrangements for the beneficiaries to get loans from banks, after the online lottery is announced at the Nehru Memorial Hall on January 22.

“After the online lottery is announced, camps will be held at MHADA offices, Mhalunge and Pimpri-Chinchwad to scrutinise the documents of the citizens selected for the flats. Representatives of banks will be present at this place. For this, meetings have been held with various nationalised and private banks. This arrangement will provide loan facility to the beneficiaries,” said Nitin Mane-Patil, Chief Officer, Pune Division, MHADA. 

Chief Administrative Officer Vijay Thakur was present on the occasion. 

“Since the beginning of online registration, 1,91,349 citizens have visited MHADA’s website. Out of which 53,472 citizens have completed the process. You can apply till January 11,” added Mane Patil.

Meanwhile, out of 5,647 flats, there are 5,217 flats in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad city. Online registration for these flats will continue till midnight on January 11. The website to apply online is https://lottery.mhada.gov.in. These flats will be made available to the citizens at affordable rates under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, First Priority First Aid, MHADA projects and a 20 percent comprehensive housing scheme.
