Meeta Shah Enthralls Audience with Devotional Music at Sri Sri Ma Anandamayi Ashram in Pune

Pune, 23rd October 2023: Renowned singer and composer Meeta Shah, a disciple of Pujy Gurudev Rakeshji, founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, delivered an enthralling “Bhajan Sandhya” performance at Sri Sri Ma Anandamayi Ashram during the Sri Sri Sharadiya Durga Puja Utsav today.

A Melodious Offering
Shah performed self-composed devotional songs, including “Yogeshwari Rahjeshwari,” “Guru tere dar pe aye,” “Achutam Keshav Krishna Damodaran,” and “Vitthal Vitthal Vitthala Hari Om Vitthala Vitthal,” among others. Her performance also featured Rajasthani bhajans and Sufi music. The crowd greeted her soulful rendition with much applause.

A Special Introduction
Mishupy, the event host, welcomed all attendees and shed light on Shah’s deep spiritual connection. “Meeta Shah is a devotee of Maa Anandamayi and took her initiation from Swami Bhaskar Nandji in 2000. Through her melodious voice and profound faith, she has consistently served the Lord and uplifted spirits,” said Mishupy. He also mentioned that Shah donates all the funds received from her programs to social services.

Honoring a Life of Dedication
On this special occasion, Meeta Shah was felicitated by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the President of Sri Sri Ma Anandamayi Ashram in Pune, and Treasurer Shri Indulkar. The honors were for her extraordinary contributions in performing over a thousand shows of patriotic songs, bhajans, Sufi music, traditional and fusion music.

A Musical Collaboration
Shah was accompanied by talented musicians including Vivek Paranjape on synthesizer, Padmakar Gujar, Hrithik Pratik on side rhythm, Tushar Deshmukh on guitar, and vocalists including Bindu Shah, Gayatri Guru, Prachi Karnik, Naina Kalka, and Dr. Aparna Atre.
