Pune, 30th May 2024: In response to the surge in pilgrim numbers for the Chardham Yatra 2024 in Uttarakhand, the state government has mandated a registration process for all pilgrims. The decision to enforce mandatory registration comes after initial weeks of the yatra experienced various logistical challenges due to the heavy influx of pilgrims.
