‘Man From Mumbai Is A Terrorist’, Unknown Caller From US Informs Pune Police’s Control Room
Pune 22nd August 2023: The Police teams in Pune and Mumbai were put on alert after a caller from the United States of America (USA) dialed Pune City Police’s Control Room and said that a person from Mumbai is a terrorist and disconnected the call. The alert officials from Pune Police immediately informed Mumbai Police about the incident and both teams started investigating the matter.
According to sources, the caller immediately disconnected the call after saying this line and did not inform any other information. The Mumbai Police team traced the caller’s location and it was revealed that the call was made from the United States of America (USA). The details have been passed on to the Crime Branch Unit of Mumbai Police and they are investigating further in the matter.
