Man Collapses on Escalator at Pune’s District Court Metro Station, Declared Dead
Shivajinagar, 1st July 2024: A tragic incident occurred at the District Court Metro Station this evening at approximately 6:30 PM. Manoj Kumar (40) suddenly collapsed on the escalator at the passenger station.
“Immediate first aid was administered by a doctor stationed at the Civil Court Metro Station. Kumar was then rushed to Sancheti Hospital in an ambulance. Unfortunately, doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival at the hospital”, Pune Metro officials said.
Metro officials have contacted Kumar’s close relatives and informed them about the incident.
The exact cause of the collapse is yet to be determined, and further details are awaited.
