Man Booked For Creating Fake Profile Of Woman On Porn Website With Photo Of Woman From Social Media
Sangvi, February 4, 2021: A man created a fake profile of a call girl and uploaded a photo of a woman on a porn site. A case has been registered against a person from Mumbai in this regard.
The victim has an account on social media. The accused took a screenshot of her photo from her account. The photos of the woman were uploaded on five porn sites and adult sites with the intention of defaming the woman. He allegedly named the woman on various sites and posted obscene comments on her saying she was a call girl.
A case has been registered against the accused Nitin Jadhav for offences under sections 354 (d) and 500 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 66 (c) and 67 (a) of the Information Technology Act. Sangvi police are investigating the case.
