Mallika Sherawat Emphasizes Women Being Financially Independent, Says “I Live On My Terms”
New Delhi, 14th October 2024: Mallika Sherawat, who once ruled Bollywood with her unique style, was not seen on the silver screen for a long time. She has recently returned to the big screen with the film ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. In this movie, she plays the role of Rajkumar Rao’s elder sister ‘Chanda’, who likes the world of glamour and who has run away from her house 2-3 times.
Mallika Sherawat’s acting in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ is being praised a lot. In the movie, the actress is paired with Vijay Raj. Mallika has been giving many interviews since the release of the film. In one of her recent interviews, the actress has emphasized women being self-reliant.
Mallika said, “It is very important for women to be financially independent. According to me, if you have a good career and you are financially independent, that is settling down. Then you can understand whether you are ready for marriage or not and can make your decision without any pressure. I live my life on my own terms and feel proud of it.”
In another part of the interview, the actress stressed that it is very important to make your own money. “Until you are earning, you are dependent on your father, brother, husband or whoever is your source of income. You have to live the way they do. When you earn, you can take care of yourself mentally, physically and spiritually too”, she added further.
