Mahindra Auto Reports 11% Sales Surge in June 2024
Pune, 2nd July 2024 – Pune, 2nd July 2024: Mahindra Auto has reported a significant increase in vehicle sales for June 2024, marking a notable milestone for its popular models in the Indian market. The company disclosed that total vehicle sales reached 69,397 units, showing an 11% growth compared to the previous month. Domestic sales of utility vehicles, including models like the Scorpio, Thar, and XUV700, saw a robust increase of 23%, totaling 40,022 units. Additionally, exports and overall sales amounted to 40,644 units, underscoring Mahindra’s strong presence both locally and internationally.
Vijay Nakra, President of Mahindra Auto’s Automotive Division, highlighted the exceptional performance of the XUV700, which alone sold 200,000 units in June. This achievement reflects a 23% year-on-year growth in XUV sales, reinforcing its popularity among consumers.
In the Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) segment, Mahindra celebrated a significant milestone with its Bolero Pickup completing 25 years since its launch in India. Launched in 2000, the Bolero Pickup has maintained its position as a market leader in the LCV segment, continuing to meet robust demand across the country.
Mahindra’s strategic focus on expanding its product portfolio and enhancing manufacturing capabilities has paid off, as reflected in the strong sales figures for June.
