Maharashtra: Sub-Registrar Offices To Remain Closed On July 27 Due To Data Migration Work

Pune, 23rd July 2024: In a significant development, the data from ESDS in Navi Mumbai will be migrated to the Advanced Data Center. This process is scheduled to start on Friday night and continue until late Saturday. Consequently, all registration offices (sub-registrar) across Maharashtra will remain closed on Saturday, July 27. This announcement was made by the Inspector General of Registration and Controller of Stamps, Hiralal Sonawane.

The migration process will involve transferring the data from ESDS, which is expected to take approximately 24 hours. During this period, all services will be unavailable. The migration work will begin at 9:30 PM on Friday, July 26, and is expected to continue until late Saturday night, July 27.

The order also states that registration offices will remain closed on Saturday, but those that are typically open on Sunday, July 28, will continue their operations as usual.
