Maharashtra: Measure Your Piece Of Land Within Half An Hour

Pune, December 23, 2020: To reduce the time to measure the piece of land, the Land Records Department has erected Continuous Operation Reference Station (CORS) at 77 centres. Using the latest technology, the department has taken help from Survey of India.

This technology will reduce the time taken for conducting GPS reading of the land. By using CORS the GPS time will be reduced to only 30 minutes. CORS will be executed within 15 days. Currently, five acres of land can be measured with its help.

ETS machines are used for measuring the land but it takes upto four hours, but using CORS the time will be reduced to only 30 minutes.
