Maharashtra HSC, SSC re-examination to begin from November 20

Pune, October 20, 2020: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the dates of higher school certificate (HSC) and secondary school certificate (SSC) re-examination dates on Tuesday. The re-examination of Std X and Std XII for students who have failed or ATKT in February-March board examination 2020 will be held from November 20.

The online application for the re-examination begins today. Students are required to fill the online application forms through their secondary school/higher secondary school/junior college between October 20 – 29. Post these dates, late fees will be charged.

The written re-examination for Std X will be held between November 20 to December 5, while for Std XII (general subjects) it is scheduled from November 20 to December 10 and Std XII (vocational subjects) from November 20 to December 7. The oral examination for both the board examinations will start from November 18 and will be conducted till December 5 for SSC students and December 10 for HSC students.

The HSC and SSC re-examination this year got delayed because of the unprecedented COVID-19 situation in the country. Usually the re-exam is held during July-August months, however this time it has been pushed to November-December.
