Maharashtra Government to Publish 100-Day Progress Report Online by May 1: CM Fadnavis

Mumbai, 3rd April 2025: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed all government departments to publish their 100-day progress reports on their official websites by May 1, listing completed projects, ongoing works, and pending tasks.
The directive came during a two-day review meeting held at the Sahyadri State Guest House, where 26 departments presented updates on their progress. Ministers and secretaries from various departments attended the session, with a review of 22 more departments scheduled for the next day.
Progress of 100-Day Programme
Speaking to the media after the review, Fadnavis highlighted that the identified departments had undertaken 938 tasks, of which:
411 tasks (44%) were fully completed.
372 tasks (40%) were in the final stages and expected to meet the deadline.
155 tasks required an additional 15 days beyond the 100-day target for completion.
“We want full transparency in governance. By May 1, every department will publish details of completed and pending work on their respective websites,” Fadnavis stated.
Push for Public Welfare & Efficient Governance
During the meeting, the CM stressed the importance of completing public welfare projects within stipulated timelines while maintaining quality and efficiency. He also directed officials to:
Improve responsiveness to queries from public representatives.
Address technical and administrative hurdles swiftly.
Ensure optimal utilisation of available funds to prevent delays.
Deputy CM Shinde Highlights Impact
Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who also participated in the review, noted that the 100-day initiative had led to significant improvements at the district level. He emphasized that shifting government services online was reducing corruption and increasing accessibility for citizens.
“The initiative is transforming governance by making services more efficient and transparent. Citizens will benefit immensely from the online accessibility of services,” Shinde remarked.
Key Focus Areas of 100-Day Plan
The government’s 100-day action plan includes:
Office Cleanliness Drives to improve working conditions.
Digitization of Services to minimize human intervention and curb corruption.
Fast-tracking Infrastructure Projects, including roads and river conservation efforts.
Publishing Progress Reports Online, reducing the need for citizens to seek information under the RTI Act.
With an extension granted for some tasks, the government remains committed to ensuring the timely completion of projects while maintaining transparency and accountability.
