Maharashtra: Action Taken Against Candidates for Misconduct in MPSC Examinations

Pune, 31st January 2024: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has taken stern action against candidates who violated rules and engaged in misconduct during the examinations. The MPSC announced these actions through the social media platform ‘X’.

1. Yogesh Uttamrao Metalwad:
– Action Taken: Disqualified from all examinations and selections conducted by the Commission for two years from November 20, 2022.
– Reason: Submitted false claims in the application for the recruitment of Assistant Town Planner, Maharashtra State’s Directorate of Town Planning & Valuation, Group B 2022. Also attempted to exert physical pressure on the Commission by threatening its officers.

2. Sachin Navnath Baglane:
– Action Taken: Candidature Cancelled for MPSC Rajyaseva Main Exam 2022, disqualified from all examinations and selections conducted by the Commission for five years from the date of MPSC Rajyaseva Main Exam 2022.
– Reason: Misbehavior by carrying Bluetooth headphones during the examination.

3. Suresh Karbhari Belote:
– Action Taken: Candidature Cancelled for MPSC Main Examination 2022, resisted from all examinations and selections conducted by the Commission for 2 years from January 23, 2023.
– Reason: Deliberately and maliciously obstructed examination proceedings by violating Commission instructions.

4. Kewalsingh Chainsingh Gusinge:
– Action Taken: Candidature cancelled for MPSC Group C Main Examination 2021, permanently barred from all examinations conducted by the Commission.
– Reason: Misbehavior during the examination by keeping a mobile phone and other unauthorized materials.

5. Balaji Dnyaneshwar Pawar:
– Action Taken: Candidature cancelled for MPSC Main Examination 2022, resisted from all examinations and selections conducted by the Commission for 2 years from the date of MPSC Main Examination 2022.
– Reason: Deliberately and maliciously created obstacles in examination proceedings by unruly behaviour in violation of Commission instructions.
