Pimpri Chinchwad, 11th May 2024: Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s ‘Maha Road Show’ took place in Pimpri-Chinchwad city, rallying support for Mahayuti’s Shiv Sena candidate and sitting MP Shrirang Barne of Maval Lok Sabha constituency. The event garnered a big response. MP Barne, MLAs Anna Bansode, Ashwini Jagtap, Uma Khapare, Mahendra Thorve, BJP City President Shankar Jagtap, office bearers, former corporators, and thousands of workers participated in the Chief Minister’s ‘Maha Road Show’.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde concluded the roadshow with confidence, stating, “Narendra Modi’s hat-trick of Prime Ministership and Shrirang Barne’s third consecutive term as MP is certain. Despite the scorching 42-degree temperature, thousands of people participated in the road show with smiles on their faces. We were warmly welcomed, with crowds lining both sides of the road. Voters here appeared content and satisfied, a sight I hadn’t seen before. The accomplishments of Prime Minister Modi over the past decade and the achievements of the Mahayuti government in the last two years deserve recognition in the upcoming 13th May voting. The results on 4th June will leave the opposition no choice but to concede defeat.”

CM Shinde emphasized, “With three phases of polling completed and the fourth scheduled for the 13th, it’s certain that Mahayuti will secure 45 seats in the state. Prime Minister Modi’s groundbreaking decision to provide 33% reservation for women in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha underscores the importance of women’s participation. Therefore, women should cast their votes first in the morning, followed by every member of the family. Your vote will contribute to the development of the country, ensure Barne’s reelection as MP, and reinstate Modi as PM.”

Concluding his remarks, he urged, “In the last election, the Maval Lok Sabha constituency witnessed a 63% voter turnout. Let’s aim for 80% this time and claim the top spot.” When a woman activist suggested rewarding Appa with a ministerial position, CM Shinde responded, “Let’s achieve 80% voting first!”
