Loyola H.S grab semifinal slot in Loyola Football Cup 2024

Pune, 2nd October 2024: Loyola H.S pushed themselves to play another day by grabbing the last semifinal slot in the Loyola Football Cup 2024 powered by Tata Autocomp and organised by ELAN (Ex Loyola Alumni Network) at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan, here in a late Tuesday encounter.

In a match that went down to the wire, host’s Loyola H.S Under-16s sealed their place as the twelfth team making it to the semifinals when an injury time ‘penalty kick’ conversion saved their day. A Parth Shinde (60+4’) goal turned out to be the decider against Vidya Valley and thus make the semifinals.

All six semifinals, two each in the Under-12, 14, 16, categories have been scheduled for Thursday.
