LOYOLA FOOTBALL CUP: St. Vincent’s H.S struggle on field

Pune, 21th September 2024: It was a tough day in office for St Vincent’s High School as Vidya Valley pushed them hard in the Loyola Football Cup 2024 powered by Tata Autocomp at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan, here on Saturday.

On a day when goals were hard to come by, St Vincent’s H.S ended up winning two matches – the Under 16 and 14 categories and managed a draw in the Under-12 section.

In the Under-16 category, St Vincent’s H.S had Ethan Lobo (32′), Awais Qureshi (52′) score in either half to settle the issue against Vidya Valley 2-0.

Later, in the Under-14 category it was Ishaan Singh (8′) and Vihan Shinde (36′) who netted in the first half and later Revanth Modak (45′).pulled one back for Vidya Valley and made it 2-1.

THe Under-12 section had St. Vincent’s High Schoolface opposition after Vidya Valley’s Malhar Deshmukh (6′) scored in the first half. Thereafter, Rayyan Panjari (27′) scored and drew the encounter 1-1.

Later in the day. St Patrick’s High School failed to meet JN Petit (Technical) H.S owing to their DSO Fixture scheduled during the day.
