10th July, 2017, Pune: Kohinoor Technical Institute (KTI) voluntarily participated in the Vann Mahotsav at various locations like Pune, Aurangabad, Chiplun and Mumbai. Students and KTI Staff across these locations planted over 3000 trees and more are expected to be planted in the days to come. It was a very proud moment for students as well as for KTI to contribute like this towards making the environment better for the future generation.

Going forward, KTI is on a mission to plant atleast 1,00,000 saplings across various states as we promote the Vann Mahotsav throughout the month of July with each branch planting over 2,500 saplings. However, at KTI, it is just not the month of July when Environment conservation is observed. “We have over 12,000 students enrolling at KTI every year, and each one would get atleast 4 sets of books & journals through the year. Our Environment Protection mission started right when we decided to opt for Eco friendly paper made from “Treeless Paper” i.e. paper made from sugarcane by-products and quick growing bamboo grass.  Participating in the Vann Mahotsav is just another feather in our cap”, says Sameer Joshi, CEO & Director, Kohinoor Technical Institute and Chief Business & Alliances (Kohinoor Group).
