Pune, 9th October 2023: Phoenix Mills Limited (PML), a leading retail mall developer in India, has inaugurated its latest venture, “Phoenix Mall of the Millennium,” in Wakad, Pune. Developed in partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments), the mall spans 16 acres and offers over 1.2 million square feet of leasable space.
A New Retail Landmark
Atul Ruia, Chairman of Phoenix Mills Limited, expressed his excitement about the new mall, stating, “After the success of Phoenix MarketCity Pune, we are thrilled to introduce our second retail destination in the city. This mall is designed to offer immersive experiences, featuring three grand atriums and an indoor Fan Park for events. We are confident that it will become another iconic landmark in Pune.”
Strategic Location and Offerings
Shishir Shrivastava, Managing Director of Phoenix Mills Limited, highlighted the mall’s strategic location. “Situated in Wakad, the mall benefits from significant infrastructure development in the area and is expected to become a regional consumption center,” he said. The mall also has an under-construction commercial office space, set to be operational by FY25.

The mall houses over 350 brands, including 15 anchor brands like H&M, Lifestyle, and Marks & Spencer’s, and 14 star brands such as Swarovski and Nautica. Entertainment and Dining
The mall features a 14-screen INOX megaplex and an array of dining options, including 19 F&B establishments. It also offers family entertainment centers like TimeZone and FunCity.

The mall incorporates eco-friendly features like rainwater harvesting systems and a 1.5-ton organic waste converter, aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.
