Kia Seltos Facelift: Price Drop and Feature-Rich Marvel

27th November 2023: Kia Seltos has recently implemented a price reduction for its sub-compact SUV Seltos Facelift in the Indian market, marking the first instance of a price decrease for the model in the country. Previously, the focus had been on reports of price hikes. The Kia Seltos currently stands out as one of the premier SUVs, offering a blend of premium features within the sub-compact SUV segment, competing robustly with other top vehicles in the Indian market.

The revised pricing for the Kia Seltos facelift reflects a reduction of Rs 2,000. The new generation Seltos facelift is now available at a price range of Rs 12.70 lakh to Rs 24.11 lakh on-road in Delhi. With three variants and an array of trims within each, the Seltos facelift caters to diverse preferences. Additionally, buyers can choose from a palette of 11 color options, adding a customizable touch to their purchase.

The Kia Seltos facelift boasts an impressive feature set, including a 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster of the same size, and seamless wireless connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Noteworthy highlights encompass cutting-edge connected car technology, a wireless mobile charger, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, front ventilated seats, an air purifier, and a premium sound system.

In terms of safety, the Seltos facelift incorporates Label 2 ADAS technology, featuring advanced driver assistance systems such as drift warning, lane return, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic jam assist, and forward collision warnings. Moreover, the SUV is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, tire pressure monitoring, hill-hold assist, hill descent control, traction control, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Under the hood, the Seltos facelift offers a choice of three engines: a 1.5-liter petrol engine generating 115 bhp and 144 Nm torque, a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 116 bhp and 250 Nm torque, and a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine with 160 bhp and 253 Nm torque. Transmission options include 6-speed manual, CVT, iMT, 6-speed torque converter automatic, 6-speed iMT, and 7-speed DCT gearboxes.

In the competitive Indian market, the Kia Seltos facelift contends with formidable rivals such as the MG Astor, Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Citroen C3 Aircross, Honda Elevate, and Toyota Hyrider.
