Key Appointments and Promotions in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation
Pimpri, 16th November 2023: In a recent development, the Department of Urban Development and Municipal Affairs of the Maharashtra Government has announced crucial appointments within the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, redefining roles and responsibilities across various departments.
As per the directives of the Maharashtra Government, Nilesh Bhadane has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. The order, issued by the General Administration Department, designates Bhadane to spearhead the independent responsibility of the Central Store Department.
Concurrently, Manoj Lonkar has been entrusted with pivotal responsibilities within the PCMC. He will be heading both the Information And Public Relations Office and the Fire Brigade Department, contributing to the effective functioning of these crucial civic domains.
In a noteworthy promotion within the medical sector of the corporation, Dr. Anjali Dhone, the Medical Officer of Akurdi Hospital, has been promoted to the post of Assistant Health Medical Officer.
On a separate note, Naronha Thomas, Executive Engineer in the Electronics & Telecommunications Department, is set to be on leave from November 20 to December 1, 2023. To ensure the smooth continuation of responsibilities during this period, the General Administration Department has entrusted Nitin Deshmukh, Executive Engineer of the Electrical Department, with the delegated tasks. The order formalizing this arrangement has been duly issued.
