Kejriwal govt to pay workers house rents to stop their migration from Delhi
New Delhi, March 29, 2020: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement to stop the exodus of migrant workers. He has told the people who are leaving home that now the Delhi government would pay rent their houses and asked them to stay back and make the lockdown successful.
Food and water
He said, if the disease is spread to our country, it will be very difficult to handle. Many schools and stadium have also been evacuated. Will keep everyone properly and feed them. Those who do not have money will also not suffer. Nobody will remain hungry.
Appeal to landlords
“I have asked all landlords not to disturb tenants. If a tenant is not able to pay rent, the government will pay the rent money. But don’t disturb a tenant. At present, our only purpose is to save the country”, Kejriwal said.
Kejriwal has appealed to his party members that this is not the time for politics. If someone abuses you, forgive him/her and move on.
