KavitaKafe’s ‘Suno-Sunao’: A Celebration of Local Voices Through Poetry and Stories
Pune, 4th April 2025: KavitaKafe, in collaboration with Monalisa Kalagram, is set to host an evocative evening of poetry and storytelling titled Suno-Sunao on April 12, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Monalisa Kalagram, Koregaon Park, Pune. This event promises to be a heartfelt gathering of Pune-based writers who will share their original works, celebrating the power of words to connect and inspire.
Launched in October 2024 by Pune-based writer and poet Garima Mishra, KavitaKafe was founded with the vision of creating a vibrant community for poets and poetry enthusiasts. Through a variety of events—ranging from workshops and open mics to larger curated gatherings—KavitaKafe has consistently offered a nurturing platform for both emerging and seasoned voices.
Following the success of its previous events like Aarambh, Baatcheet, and Kavya-Katha, Suno-Sunao continues the tradition of bringing together diverse talents in an atmosphere of artistic exchange. The line-up for the upcoming event includes accomplished writers such as Devika Nadig, Surendra Bhatia, Vivek Dube, Manisha Jhamb, Rahul Joshi, Veena Raman, Bhanu Vora, Vijay Laxmi Singh, Radhika Mukherjee, and Waseem Kazi, among others.
