Kalyani Nagar Porsche Incident: Accused’s Family Seeks Return of Luxury Car from Pune Police

Pune, 21st August 2024: The Kalyani Nagar Porsche incident in Pune, which occurred on 19th May, caused widespread chaos across the country. The Porsche car involved in the accident, which was driven under the influence of alcohol and resulted in two deaths, was seized by the Pune Police. Although the minor accused has been granted bail, the luxury vehicle remains confiscated. The accused’s family has now approached the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) to recover the Porsche.

The Porsche Taycan, which was driven by the minor accused on that unfortunate night, is worth over Rs 2 crores. To reclaim the luxury car, the Agarwal family has filed a request with the JJB. A hearing regarding this matter is anticipated on 28th August, at which time a decision about the car may be determined.
