Kalki 2898 AD Now Streaming On Prime Video In Multiple Languages
Pune, 22nd August 2024: The highly anticipated Telugu film “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring Prabhas in the lead role, is now available for streaming on Prime Video. Set in a dystopian future rooted in Hindu mythology, the film is accessible in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the movie delves into the journey of Kalki, the savior, in the last-standing city of Kashi. Following its successful theatrical release, the film is now reaching a broader audience through its OTT platform debut.
“Kalki 2898 AD” is set in the year 2898 AD, when the world has plunged into a dystopian state. The story unfolds in Kashi, the last city standing, under the rule of a supreme power known as the Complex. The film, inspired by the 10th avatar of Lord Vishnu, features Prabhas as a bounty hunter who must battle the forces of evil. The ensemble cast includes Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Pasupathy, Disha Patani, and Anna Ben, with cameo appearances by Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and others.
The film’s narrative intertwines mythological elements with futuristic settings. Amitabh Bachchan portrays Ashwatthama, an immortal character from the Mahabharata, while Deepika Padukone plays a pregnant woman believed to be carrying Kalki. Kamal Haasan plays the antagonist Yaskin, with a more significant role anticipated in the film’s sequel.
