Kalanubhava to organise Classical Vocal and Dance competition

Pune, 2nd November 2017: With schools re-opening after Diwali break, there is also an exciting Music Competition which will be organized by city based NGO Kalanubhava Charitable Trust which will be held on Saturday, 18th & Sunday, 19th November 2017 from 8 am onwards at Sahakar Sadan in Erandwane.

The 3rd edition of this Classical Vocal and Dance competition, especially for students of 13-16 years of age, has already started with registration process for participants. The participants must make sure that the form is duly signed and stamped by the school or the academy authorities. Any number of entries can be sent per school or academy with Rs. 300 per entry. The enrollment has already started at head office of SEED Infotech Ltd, who is supporting this initiative and the last date for registration is 15thNovember.

“After two successful editions, we are really pleased to yet again bring this music competition for the students of Indian Classical Music. The sole aim of the trust is to provide platform to young and budding artists who want to cultivate and express their talents. Such opportunities are sure to boost their moral and confidence in the art they are learning,” expressed Bharati Barhate, Chairperson, Kalanubhav Charitable Trust while talking about the competition.

First day of the completion i.e Saturday, 18thNovember will be elimination round where each participant will be allotted 5 min for their performance. While the final round of the competition will be held on Sunday, 19th November giving 7min of time to each selected participant.

The competition will be judged by eminent artists from the Music industry. The winners of this competition will be felicitated during the Kalanubhava Sangeet Mahotsava which is being organized every year by the Trust. Not only that, the winners will also receive different goodies from SEED Infotech Ltd.
