K-nest Construction Tech Expands Into DeepTech With Indigenous Construction Automation Solutions

Mumbai, 9th September 2026: K-nest Construction Tech has expanded into DeepTech construction technology, adding indigenous solutions in construction robotics, 3D printing, human augmentation, precision sensing and automated high-rise construction to its portfolio.

The company said the move marks its evolution from a construction systems manufacturer into a construction technology company focused on automation, mechanisation and human-machine collaboration at physical construction sites.

DeepTech solutions for construction sites

According to the company, its expanded technology portfolio includes site-scale, digitally controlled 3D concrete and construction printing systems designed to automate parts of the building process.

It also includes autonomous quality and inspection robotics, with mobile robots capable of scanning built environments and comparing site installations in real time with Building Information Modelling (BIM) design models. The company said these systems can identify discrepancies between planned and executed work.

K-nest has also developed industrial and construction exoskeletons, which are designed to support workers by reducing physical fatigue and enhancing safety during construction activities.

Its precision digital sensors include alignment systems that monitor formwork plumb and alignment in real time, along with integrated anemometers to monitor wind speeds and support safe operating limits for high-rise screens.

The portfolio further includes self-climbing safety screens and jump-form systems, which are designed to automate construction platforms and improve safety and efficiency in conventional formwork and high-rise construction operations.

The expansion comes as India enters a major infrastructure and construction cycle. The company cited India’s real GDP growth of 7.7% in FY2025-26, construction’s contribution of approximately 8% to nominal gross value added (GVA), and the Union Government’s budgeted capital expenditure of ₹12.22 lakh crore for FY2026-27 as indicators of the sector’s growth potential.

“India should not have to import the future of construction. We should be able to engineer it here. India has demonstrated an extraordinary ability to build at scale. Our ambition now is to invest in the engineering depth, R&D, and indigenous intellectual property required to help build the next generation of construction technology here in India, and ultimately take it to the world,” said Nitin Mittal, Founder and CMD, K-nest Construction Tech.

“DeepTech is not a label we want to put on conventional equipment. The engineering has to earn it. We are working on complex physical-world problems that demand seamless integration across mechanical engineering, robotics, hydraulics, electronics, software, and field expertise. The goal is technology that is advanced, but equally practical, reliable, and deployable on live construction sites,” Agarwal said.

K-nest said the expansion reinforces its focus on developing indigenous construction technologies and aims to position India not only as a user of advanced construction technology but also as a developer and potential global exporter of such solutions.

The company’s stated focus is on combining automation, robotics, digital sensing and human augmentation to address productivity, safety and quality challenges in the construction industry.
