Junnar: Pune Rural Police Raid Obscene Dance Program at Malshej Agro Tourism and Farm Resort

Junnar, 1st June 2024: The Pune Rural Police, in coordination with the Anti-Terrorism Squad and the Local Crime Branch, conducted a raid on an obscene dance program at the Malshej Agro Tourism and Farm Resort located in Dingore village, Junnar taluka of Pune district, Maharashtra. The operation took place on May 30, resulting in the detention of 28 individuals, including 17 girls from Nashik district, 11 girls from Pune and other districts, and the resort manager.

Vishal Gavane from the Anti-Terrorism Squad filed a formal complaint at the Otur Police Station on behalf of the government. The raid led to the detention of several individuals, including:

– Bhausaheb Gade (38)
– Sham Chavan (43)
– Amol Shinde (32)

– Yogesh Sangle (37)
– Sagar Ugle (32)
– Kishore Sanap (33)
– Shivaji Harale (45)
– Tanmay Bakre (25)
– Sharad Sanap (34)
– Sagar Karnawat (33)
– Sagar Jejurkar (35)

All these individuals, along with 11 women, the hotel owner Pradip Chandrakat Dahale (residing at Navi Mumbai), and the hotel manager Avinash Ashok Bhoge (29, resident of Karwandi, Ahmednagar district), have been charged.

The raid was initiated when Assistant Police Inspector Arjun Mohite of the Anti-Terrorism Branch, Pune Rural, received information about the obscene dance program while patrolling the Junnar area. The swift action of the police team led to the successful detention of the individuals involved and the disruption of the illegal activities at the resort.

A case has been registered at the Otur Police Station, and further investigation is underway to uncover more details about the operation and its organizers.
