Jio Launches High Data Plans with Free Netflix and 5G Access
Mumbai, 24th August 2024: Reliance Jio has introduced two high-data prepaid plans, priced above ₹1,000, that offer free Netflix subscriptions along with 5G access. These plans are designed to cater to customers who seek extensive data usage combined with additional benefits like OTT subscriptions. The plans provide 84 days of validity, making them suitable for users who require long-term services. The ₹1,799 plan includes 3GB of daily data, while the ₹1,299 plan offers 2GB of daily data. Both plans also feature unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and access to Jio’s 5G network.
The ₹1,799 plan provides a total of 252GB of data over 84 days, with a free three-month Netflix subscription included. This plan was previously available at ₹1,499 before a recent tariff hike. On the other hand, the ₹1,299 plan offers 168GB of data over the same period and includes a free Netflix Basic plan. The price of this plan was increased from ₹1,099 to ₹1,299 on July 3rd, 2024.
Both plans also offer unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS per day, and 5G access, catering to users with high data consumption and a preference for streaming services. Reliance Jio, known for its competitive pricing and extensive service offerings, continues to enhance its appeal by combining essential telecom services with popular OTT platforms like Netflix.
