Jewellery Theft Shock in Bibwewadi: Women Drugged and Robbed After Job Offer
Bibwewadi, 19th June 2024: In the Bibwewadi area, an incident occurred where two women had their jewellery stolen after being given sedative drugs. Investigations have revealed that the accused woman robbed these two women by luring them with promises of work and then administering sedative drugs to them through tea. Police have registered a case following a complaint filed at Bibwewadi Police Station.
The complainant, residing in the Papal Wasti area of Bibwewadi, reported that on 12th June, around 12:30 PM, she was approached by a woman on a two-wheeler near Bharat Jyoti Society in Bibwewadi. The woman offered her a job and took her to her residence on the two-wheeler. There, the complainant was given tea with sedative drugs, after which her jewellery and mobile phone were stolen.
Further investigation revealed that another woman in the Bibwewadi area had also fallen victim to a similar scheme, where her jewellery was stolen under the same circumstances. Police have launched a search for the suspect who administered the sedative drugs and stole the jewellery. Assistant Police Inspector Praveen Kalukhe is leading the investigation into the case.
