New Delhi, 7th April 2022: The engineering entrance exam JEE Main 2022 has been postponed. The exam conducting agency NTA has issued an official notice in this regard on Wednesday.

 

The April session has been postponed to June and the May session to July. NTA announced this on Twitter. At the same time, the medical entrance exam NEET-UG will be conducted on July 17. The registration process for this has started on Wednesday.

 

 

A revised schedule has been released by NTA. The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2022 has been postponed due to a clash with the board exam calendar of 2022. Many students had complained to the NTA in this regard. After which the exam conducting agency took this decision.

 

The first session was scheduled to be held on April 21, 24, 25, 29, and May 1 and 4, 2022. Now it will be held from 20-29 June.

 

Similarly, the second session which was to be held from May 24 to 29, will now be held from July 21 to July 30. Full details of the revised schedule can be seen at nta.ac.in, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

 

At the same time, NTA said that NEET will be conducted in 13 languages ​​at centres across the country.

 

A senior agency official said, May 6 has been fixed as the last date for submission of online application forms. Candidates should strictly follow the instructions given in the Information Bulletin and on the NTA website. Candidates not following the instructions will be disqualified for the exam.

 

Last year, NEET UG was conducted on September 12, in which more than 95 percent of the registered candidates appeared. More than 15.44 lakh candidates appeared in the exam. It was conducted in 2021 at 3,858 centers in 13 languages. More than 8.70 lakh candidates had qualified the exam.
