ITBP Opens Applications for Head Constable Post: Apply by August 5

Pune, 8th July 2024: The Indo-Tibet Border Police Force (ITBP) has officially opened applications for the Head Constable (Education and Stress Counsellor) position. Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official ITBP recruitment website at recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

The recruitment drive aims to fill 112 positions, with the application window open from July 7 to August 5, 2024. Applicants must hold a degree in psychology from an accredited university. Alternatively, candidates may have an equivalent qualification or a Bachelor of Education degree or Bachelor of Teaching degree from an accredited university.

The selection process involves a recruitment test. Initially, candidates will receive online admit cards, and their candidature will remain provisional until they are finally selected and have submitted all related documents and certificates in the original and prescribed format during the verification stage.

The selection process also includes a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST). Following these tests, candidates will take a written exam, which consists of objective-type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 100 marks. Male candidates from the Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories are required to pay an application fee of ₹100 through the online payment gateway on the ITBP website. However, candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), female candidates, and ex-servicemen are exempted from this fee.
