IPS Officer Sandeep Singh Gill Appointed Pune Rural SP, Pankaj Deshmukh Transferred To Mumbai Police

Pune, 5th September 2024: The Maharashtra State government has announced the transfer of several senior IPS officers, including the Superintendent of Police (Pune Rural).

Pune Rural SP Pankaj Deshmukh has been transferred to Mumbai Police as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). In his place, Sandeep Singh Gill, who was serving as DCP (Zone 1) of Pune City Police, has been appointed as the new SP of Pune Rural Police.

IPS officer Tejaswi Satpute, who previously served as DCP Traffic in Pune, is returning as a DCP. Satpute currently served as a DCP with Mumbai Police.
