International Women’s Day Celebrated On Pune Division Central Railway

Pune, 8th March 2024: Central Railway celebrated International Women’s Day with enthusiasm and jubilation on 8.3.2024 at Pune Division and various activities were organised on the occasion. The main program has been held at Indrayani Hall, DRM office, Pune.

On this occasion, lectures on various subject, i.e. Role of Homeopathy for improvement of heart functioning, Impact of social media on society, Art of positive living, etc. has been arranged by inviting guest lectures specialized in respective field.

Also in said program, a pamplet on awareness of harrasment of women at work place has been released by Indu Dubey, DRM, Pune. Also, a cultural program has been arranged by women employees working on Pune Division.

In said program women employees, and WSSO Members of the Division have been participated in large numbers.

a special programme organized at Central Railway Headquarters – Mumbai, total 21 women employees working at the Headquarters and on various divisions were honored with Sashakt Nari Puraskar.

Two women employees of Pune Division, Technician- I Sneha Kamble and Junior Ticket Examiner Pooja Telgote were also honored with the said award.
