Srinagar, India, 31st July 2023: Numerous individuals have been interrogated by authorities in Jammu and Kashmir after the disappearance of Indian army soldier Javed Ahmad Wani, who went missing from Kulgam two days ago. Wani, who was stationed in the Ladakh region, vanished while on leave, and his abandoned car was discovered in Paranhall. He was expected to return to duty on Sunday.

As the search for the missing soldier continues, law enforcement is examining call records to trace his whereabouts. Wani’s father, Mohammad Ayoub Wani, made a heartfelt plea to the possible kidnappers, urging them to release his son unharmed, as he is the sole provider for their family. He even offered to help his son resign from his job if that would resolve any grievances.

According to Wani’s father, on the day of his disappearance, Wani had gone out to purchase meat and was planning to return to his posting in Ladakh the following day. However, they received news that his car was found abandoned with its doors open, and there were reports of bloodstains in the vehicle, though this has not been officially confirmed.

Interestingly, after Wani’s car was taken to a local police station, the groceries he had bought earlier and one of his slippers were found inside the car. The investigation into his disappearance remains ongoing as authorities strive to find answers and locate the missing soldier.
