IIT Student in Patna Receives a Package of 52 Lakh Rupees

Patna, January 1, 2021: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna, students in Patna continue to flourish in their campus selections. According to sources, a student received an offer of Rs 52 lakh annual income as part of the package for the job.

For the first phase of campus selections, this is the highest amount proposed. Prior to this, another student received an offer up to Rs 43.50 lakhs, while another received an offer of Rs 47 lakhs per annum.

According to the institute, the student in question (M.Tech final year) was offered Rs 52.50 lakhs by MTX IT Consulting Services Private Limited. As the selection process is still underway the institute has decided to keep the student’s information private.

More than 50% of B.Tech students selected: Along with M.Tech, a great performance was seen in the selections for the B.Tech students as well. 50% of registered B.Tech students have been selected in the selection process to date. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Topper, Jaguar, Land Rover, Amazon, Wipro, D.E. Shaw India, Goldman Sachs, L.T.I, L&T Construction, Jio Platform, TCS, as well as Richard and Innovation, took part in the campus selections. The second phase of the selection is believed to begin in two weeks.

The in-charge of IIT’s Training and Placement Cell, Kripashankar Singh said that within January the second phase shall begin. He also stated that between excellent technical skills and good leadership qualities, better job offers are being made available to those with excellent technical skills.

Training and Placement Cell’s Professor in-charge, Dr Jose V. Parammbil, on his student’s success, said that receiving such a huge offer indicates that the companies suffering the damages caused by the corona pandemic are gradually recovering again. The institute congratulated the students on their success.
