Design Overhaul and Stylish Upgrades

The new Creta facelift is anticipated to boast a revamped exterior, showcasing a distinct design with larger LED headlights and DRLs, along with a redesigned front grille adorned with fresh chrome detailing. Notable additions include larger 18-inch alloy wheels featuring rear disc brakes and possibly borrowed elements from the Hyundai Alcazar model.

Enhanced Features and Technological Advancements

Inside, the facelifted Creta is speculated to introduce advanced features such as a 360-degree camera, a potential 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, and heated front seats, enhancing both comfort and convenience for occupants. Expectations are high for the inclusion of driver assistance systems like lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control, in alignment with the offerings seen in the new Hyundai Verna.

Powertrain Options and Performance

The 2024 Hyundai Creta is set to maintain its existing powertrain lineup, including the 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre diesel, and the anticipated 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit, delivering increased power at 160 PS. The introduction of the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine will replace the discontinued 1.4-litre turbo-petrol option, offering enhanced performance and efficiency.

Anticipated Price and Market Competition

Market speculations suggest a starting price for the facelifted Creta at approximately Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, the refreshed Creta is poised to reignite its competition within the SUV segment, pitting against rivals like the Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Kia Seltos, and others.

As Hyundai gears up to unveil the revamped Creta facelift, the expectations are high for an enhanced driving experience coupled with advanced features and an updated design, promising an exciting addition to India’s SUV market.
