Husband Arrested for Trying to Kill Mother-in-Law, Wife Files Complaint in Pimpri Chinchwad
Dighi, 24th September 2024: A man in Pimpri Chinchwad has attempted to kill his mother-in-law, alleging that she is instigating conflicts between him and his wife. His wife has filed a complaint with the Pimpri Chinchwad Police. The incident occurred near Charholi Budruk at 6:30 PM on Sunday (22nd September).
The complainant, a 24-year-old woman residing in Lohgaon, reported the incident to Dighi Police Station. Dighi Police have arrested her husband, Ramchandra Ashruba Gore, who is also a resident of Lohgaon but originally from Beed. The injured party has been identified as Radhabai Sawale, 55, also a resident of Lohgaon.
The charges against the accused include sections under the BNS Sections 109 (attempt to murder) and 118 (2) (voluntarily causing grievous hurt).
According to police reports, the complainant, her husband, and her mother were out shopping on Charholi Road when an argument erupted between the husband and his mother-in-law. He questioned her, saying, “Are you starting fights between my wife and me?” before attacking her with a stone. She is currently receiving further treatment at a hospital. Police Inspector Bhamre from Dighi Police Station is investigating the matter.
