Pune, 31st May 2023: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate is taking proactive steps to educate residents on reporting cybercrimes effectively. To facilitate this, the PCMC has released comprehensive guidelines titled ‘How to Report Cyber Crime’ for the community’s convenience.

The PCMC is offering multiple avenues for reporting cybercrime incidents to ensure accessibility for all residents. Citizens can choose from the following options:

  1. Portal Reporting: Victims can file complaints online via the official cybercrime portal at www.cybercrime.gov.in. The portal provides a user-friendly interface for submitting complaints.
  2. Email Reporting: Individuals can send an email to [email protected], providing a detailed account of the crime along with relevant screenshots. It is important to include contact information for further communication.
  3. Walk-In Reporting: For those who prefer face-to-face interaction, the Cyber Cell at the 2nd Floor of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Commissionerate, located in Premlok Park, Chinchwad, MH 411033, welcomes walk-in reports.
  4. Telephone Reporting: Victims can directly contact the PCMC police’s Cyber Cell at 02027350939 to file their complaints and seek assistance.
  5. Local Police Station Reporting: Alternatively, residents can visit any of the 18 police stations across PCMC to register a complaint regarding cyber fraud.
