22nd December 2023: Hailing from Japan, the renowned Honda bike company has consistently earned the trust of customers in the bike segment, unveiling a range of bikes, scooters, and sports bikes that have resonated well with Indian consumers. Honda’s diverse offerings have found widespread popularity in the Indian bike market.

In line with its commitment to innovation, Honda is set to launch its upcoming Honda NX500 bike in July 2024, further expanding its presence in India. Anticipation surrounds this release, and in this article, we delve into the detailed features, pricing, and engine specifications of this eagerly awaited Honda bike. The estimated price for the Honda NX500 is expected to range between Rs 7,15,035 lakh to Rs 9,00,000 lakh, though the final price will be disclosed at the time of its launch.

Rumors suggest that the Honda NX500 is an upgraded version of the Honda CB500, serving as a new marketing initiative. Engineered as an adventure bike, the NX500 boasts an array of impressive features, including a LED lamp, a five-inch TFT screen with updated Bluetooth functionality, and more. Powering this bike is a 471 cc Bs6 engine with a liquid cooling system, producing a maximum power of 35Kw (47Hp) / 8,600rpm and a maximum torque of 43 Nm / 6,500rpm. The 6-speed gearbox contributes to a top speed of 142 kilometers per hour, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.6 seconds.

In terms of mileage, the Honda NX500 is designed to cover 27.8 kilometers per liter, providing an impressive range of 470 kilometers with its 17.5-liter fuel tank. Safety features abound, with a dual-channel IPS braking system, emergency signal, low fuel signal, low oil signal, GPS, and Bluetooth connectivity.

The bike’s suspension includes Showa 41mm SFF-BP USD FORKS at the front and Rolling Manovit Prolink Mono With 5 Stage Preload Adjuster, Steel Hollow Cross Swingarm at the rear, catering to off-roading enthusiasts. Dual disc and single disc brakes at the front and rear, along with a dual-channel ABS braking system, ensure optimal control and safety. The NX500, available in a single variant with three color options, including Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Pearl Horizon White, and Grand Prix Red, is poised to compete with rivals like Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and MV Agusta.
