Holi: State Transport Department To Provide More Buses To Konkan
Pimpri, February 8, 2021: People travelling to Konkan on the occasion of Holi will get additional buses from Vallabhnagar ST Depot, Pimpri. Reservation for these buses will be starting soon.
Every year many people travel from Pune, Mumbai and Pimpri -Chinchwad city to Konkan to celebrate Ganeshotsav and Holi. Last year due to corona there was a ban on travelling and people couldn’t go to their native places to celebrate the festival. This year as the situation is improving, people are planning to travel again.
Currently, the railways are not operating with its full strength therefore people are demanding more buses to travel to Konkan. Considering this demand the department is allocating additional buses from 26 to 29 March to Chiplun, Dapoli, Khed, Mahad etc. Reservation will start soon for these buses.
