Hinjewadi Police Fine 13 Boys For Playing Cricket Violating Lockdown Rules

Hinjewadi, 24th May 2021: Hinjewadi police have taken action against the children who were playing cricket for violating the lockdown rules. There is a new cricket academy within the limits of the Hinjewadi police station, where 13 minors were playing cricket ignoring the rules of the corona. The children were fined Rs 500 each, said the senior police inspector Balkrishna Sawant.

The number of Covid-19 infected patients is decreasing. But, some people seem to be breaking the rules. Hinjewadi police had received information that some children were playing cricket at Navale Cricket Academy within the limits of Hinjewadi police station. Accordingly, when Police Sub Inspector Tukaram Khadke and other staff reached the spot and found 13 minors playing cricket.

 

The boys saw the police and tried to run away. However, the police stopped everyone and took them to the police station. The children have been released after paying a fine of Rs 500 each. The children were strictly instructed by police not to break the rules again.
