Hero Unveils Spy Image of Off-Road Adventure Bike
1st December 2023: Hero company continues to introduce a series of new bikes in the Indian market, with the latest revelation being a spy image of the Hero Splendor X150. The bike showcases a distinct new appearance resembling the Hero Splendor Plus, but experts suggest it is an adventure bike designed for off-roading. The bike is currently undergoing testing, featuring a revamped look with added features and design changes. Once the testing phase concludes, the Hero Splendor X150 is expected to be launched nationwide.
Details regarding the exact launch date remain undisclosed, but bike enthusiasts anticipate its introduction to the Indian market between 2024 and 2025. While the company has yet to reveal the price of the Hero Splendor X150, experts speculate a range between Rs 1.50 to Rs 2 lakh, considering its adventure bike classification. The spy image showcases a striking appearance, boasting a substantial engine, KTM 390-like suspension, a robust steel white frame at the front, and a distinctive white and blue color scheme, accompanied by a new logo on the bike’s tank, contributing to its adventurous aesthetic.
When it comes to features, the Hero Splendor X150 offers options like SMS alerts and a self-start mechanism. Additionally, riders can benefit from a spacious 13-14 liter fuel tank. Highlighting the importance of a robust engine for an adventure bike, the Hero Splendor X150 is expected to house a powerful twin-cylinder, 4-valve, DOHC, F.I. engine, ensuring optimal performance for long rides. The spy image reveals a dual-suspension system, with WP APEX USD open-cartridge forks at the front and a 177 mm wheel travel WP APEX Monoshock suspension at the rear.
Further enhancing its off-road capabilities, the Hero Splendor X150 features two disc brakes (front and rear) and 18 to 21-inch spoke wheel tires manufactured by CEAT Gripp XL, specifically designed for off-roading.
