Hero Motocorp Price Increase: Hero’s Scooters and Bikes to Become Expensive from 1 July

Pune, 24th June 2024 – Hero MotoCorp, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced plans to raise prices across its range of scooters and bikes starting July 1, 2024. The decision comes in response to escalating input costs, prompting the company to adjust showroom prices accordingly. Hero MotoCorp stated that prices for all vehicles will increase by up to ₹1500, although the hike will vary depending on the model and variant.

Hero MotoCorp offers a diverse portfolio that includes budget-level bikes and sports segment models, along with a range of scooters. Models such as Splendor+, Splendor+ Xtec, Splendor+ Xtec 2.0, HF Deluxe, HF100, Glamour, Passion Xtec, Super Splendor Xtec, Passion+, Super Splendor, Glamour Xtec, Xtreme 160R 4V, Xtreme 160R, Xtreme 200S 4V, Xtreme 125R, Xpulse 200 4V, and Xpulse 200T 4V are prominently featured in the Indian market. Additionally, Hero MotoCorp offers scooters like Destini Prime, Pleasure+ Xtec 18, Xoom, and Destini 125Xtec.

“The increase reflects our need to manage rising production costs,” explained a spokesperson. Customers can expect adjustments to reflect varying specifications and features across different models. The move aims to ensure sustainable profitability amid economic challenges impacting the automotive sector.
