GPO Pune starts a dedicated counter for ‘Jawans’
Pune, September 4, 2020: The Office of Postmaster General (GPO) has started a special separate counter for armed forces jawans. The counter will be only dedicated to them.
As per information shared by Senior Post Master BK Erande, “The counter is only for financial transactions for jawans. At this counter, only the financial related work will be taken care of, because there is no dedicated counter at headquarter.”
At this counter, they (Jawans) can open a postal bank account, make money transfer, payments and other work related to monetary transactions.
